Since we had come this far, we decided to visit Newfoundland as well. Not much driving today - a welcome change from yesterday's hairpins and fog. At 10 am, we boarded the motor vessel MV Caribou for a six hour crossing to Newfoundland where we arrived in the early evening to a typical picturesque view of coloured houses clinging to the outcroppings around the harbour.
