Sault Ste Marie

Today we woke to glorious sunshine (although still nippy and quite windy). Our route wound along the eastern bank of Lake Superior and we enjoyed many a beautiful vista (very reminiscent of the BC coastline). Then we were surprised they didn't run out of names for the thousands of lakes we saw over the past two days - it's no wonder everyone has a "cottage by the lake" here! After a foraging stop in Sault Ste Marie, we happened upon a travelling fair (much like Playland only with much older equipment). And mark this day - we finally found an "open" rest stop that was really open.
